My Power Mall Training - WordPress Blogging - Part V
Today we will talk about Posting your My Power Mall eBooks into WordPress; another very popular FR`EE Blogging tool. OK - I did another quick search for a subject I was interested in - Work At Home Mom jobs and wordpress. I found a bunch of blogs in which to post. This one in particular caught my eye because it was discussing teenagers and choices.I made a quick comment and dropped off a link to the free eBook regarding youth.

Some technical differences between blogging in WordPress vice Blogger - Wordpress usually does not allow html code in the comment window. I there fore could not upload a link using the A tags like I did in the Part IV. Here is a creative way I have gotten around this...
When you blog your My Power Mall eBooks in WordPress, you will notice there are 3 fields on the left, and one main comment field. In the NAME field - type in what you want your LINK to say. The email field is self explanitory(dimmed here to protect the innocent). In the Website field - place the html code for the eBook you want to post. In this case all you do is cut and paste the http:// part of the link - just like it came from the eBook generation tool; like this:
You can paste this straight into the "comment" section - but it is really ugly and if the blog is moderated, most likely it will never make it past the gatekeeper.
Remember - be on topic, provide value, and offer a free eBook.

Over the years there have been companies that have given Home-Based Businesses a bad name. I don't think anyone knows that better than I do! MPM Training - Blogging My Power Mall in Blogger - Part IV
Morning everyone - today we are going to discuss Blogger - Google's default blog. My attempt is to talk about each of the most popular blogs out there to point out subtle differences, and how these will effect how you post your links.
As you can see from the Image above - I have posted a comment in a blog about patriotism. I did a quick search for patriotism, and discovered 1,770,000 blogs with a patriotism tag - so there is plenty of canvas out there, if you know what I mean. OK - The blog I chose was this one http://sushiisyumi.blogspot.com/2007/08/dubious-patriotismwho-defends-those-who.html
It had a cool photo that inspired me to comment on topic. Click on the blog if you want to, to see what I mean - and you will see a black and white photo of the American Flag with a Star of David. The subject of the post is "who defends those who defend us?"
Since this is a topic I feel strongly about, I posted a quick comment about the photo, explaining what it made me think about and I also dropped off my link to 101 ways to support the troops.
You see now, how the tools we set aside in the first two parts of this series can help us here? I am not ramming anything down anyones throat - and providing rich content in an area that interests me. The 101 ways to support the troops is a quality book, and just happens to have some info about power mall along with it. Some may rub off, some may not.
I do want to discuss some minor technical parts of this post. When we made our links the first time, all we did was copy and paste the code straight from the eBook tool and pasted it into our notepad file like this...

My Power Mall Ethics - please take note!
I agree whole heartedly - while these tactics might pay off in the short term, they will most always fail. The truth is, like anything worth doing, this too will take a little effort.

Michael, you know as well as I do that that is wrong and fraudulent advertising. You are setting people up for expectations by lying to them. Can people make $300 a day. Yes - in time - but it certainly takes time to build to that kind of income. Are YOU making that kind of income? No. is it reasonable to think that kind of income will be generated in the 3 months you've been with MPM, and with less than 50 people on your team. NO. I will not allow anyone to hurt My Power Mall by telling lies that will set people up for disillusionment. The MPM Contract states:
Member can be terminated immediately, including the cancellation of their MPM websites, at the sole discretion of MPM for false representation; spamming during marketing practices; abridgement of this Member agreement; Unethical behavior; or infringement of copyright, patent and trademark restrictions applicable to MPM. In the case of termination, any commissions due to that date will be paid in full. This act will only be taken when there is no other resort to handle differences and conflicts.
Michael, I need to hear from you immediately that you have cancelled all ads that state this untruth. If I do not hear from you, I will have no choice but to cancel your Mall. If I find you do it again in the future, there will be no warning - I will just cancel it. Michael, we are in business to help people, not hurt them. You will find there are many ethical and honest ways to promote your business. If you choose to pursue those, and you want to keep your Mall, I need to hear from you immediately.

I count on all of you to keep me informed if this type of thing is going on. I use a web based email client that allows me to set up different rules regarding the emails I receive. For example, when I get email from my dad - I have set up a folder called dad - so that all emails with his "from" information go into that folder. I also have the same thing setup for the My Power Mall Free eBooks - as they have a discreet subject line. Remember how I recommended checking the read receipt box when you did your eBook link setup? Well, here is where it pays off - every time one of my breadcrumbs is picked up - I get an email notification, and they all go into a Folder called MPM Free eBooks. As a matter of fact, I blogged for about 1 hour over the weekend, and noticed over 40 read receipts. So for an hour worth of "work" I was able to get over 40 eBooks delivered. Compound this over time and spend just 1 hour blogging 3 times a week, and soon you will see this number rise into the hundreds or thousands. How many people will decide to act and get their own power mall? The industry click through averages are about 3-4 percent. So If I get 40 people opening my eBooks, that means 1000 people have probably seen my post. Of the 40 my numbers have been pretty good, and I am averaging about 5% signing up. So 40 free eBooks - 2 new members. Not bad for an hour's worth of work.

So If I get 40 people opening my eBooks, that means 1000 people have probably seen my post. Of the 40 my numbers have been pretty good, and I am averaging about 5% signing up. So 40 free eBooks - 2 new members. Not bad for an hour's worth of work.
In my next post we will get into the nuts and bolts of posting inside the most popular blogs.

MPM Training - Preparing to Blog - Part II
Remember the ugly links from last post - let's clean them up.
It is easy - and will be useful for Blogging but also in emails, trust me.
Here we go...
In just a matter of seconds we will turn this..

OK it is this simple, all I did was add
A HREF="
to the front of our ugly link...
and
the last thing you have to do is add a bracket that looks like this < to the front and add /A enclosed in brackets like this < > to the back
It is that easy folks...
Don't be afraid of html - which is really simple - especially in this application. HTML stands for hyper text markup language, for those of you that are new to computers.
Quick exercise: We used the Volunteer eBook last time - this time let's feature the Troops
all you have to do is open your Notepad text editor, and modify the link :
http://www.mypowermall.net/cgi-bin/pd/pd.cgi?showmpmcard=11927730560.64422607421875.card
(which is the code for the Troops eBook)
to add the above code to the front and back
