Remember the ugly links from last post - let's clean them up.

It is easy - and will be useful for Blogging but also in emails, trust me.
Here we go...

OK it is this simple, all I did was add

A HREF="

to the front of our ugly link...
and

">Free eBook!

to the back of our ugly link

the last thing you have to do is add a bracket that looks like this < to the front and add /A enclosed in brackets like this < > to the back


It is that easy folks...

Don't be afraid of html - which is really simple - especially in this application. HTML stands for hyper text markup language, for those of you that are new to computers.

Quick exercise: We used the Volunteer eBook last time - this time let's feature the Troops

all you have to do is open your Notepad text editor, and modify the link :

SIMPLE STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO Blogging with your Fr~ee My Power Mall eBooks:


The List of My Power Mall eBooks is very nice - and a tool you should be using to spread the word. Nice thing about blogging with the eBooks is that you will be in essence leaving breadcrumbs all over the internet to get back to your site. Much better than sending emails, because blogs live and breathe, whereas emails die. This guide will walk you through how to use the Free My Power Mall marketing tools - but then go one step further and show you how to apply it in your individual marketing efforts. In essence I am going to walk you through building a tool you can use in a DAILY blogging marketing campaign. Keep reading...



First things first - if you want your own free online business - sign up here.

OK - good. Congrats! - you own an online business - how does it feel?
Write down you My Power Mall ID # - you will need it right quick!

Let's get started!
You can now immediately start marketing your My Power Mall business by following the next few steps.

1. Visit the MPM eBook Section - follow this link to go there now.

2. Open up a separate window with Notepad or any simple text editor - you will need to keep this open and will be pasting information here for use later. Call the file Power Mall Blog Links or whatever you want, and save it on your desktop.

3. Go back to the eBooks and click on the one pictured - 101 Ways to Change the World.
This will activate the MPM eCard tool - a sweet FREE utility! You will need your My Power Mall ID # in order to have the eBook coded to you. So after you sign up write down your code, or better yet memorize it.

4. Enter the following information into the eCard tool :
Your MPM MEMBER ID # 43040 (this is mine - enter yours)
Your email address (THIS IS REQUIRED): current email address
Click the Read Receipt? check the box - I recommend this because it will send you an email every time someone opens up one of your eBooks - a nice way of knowing you are getting traffic. Select the Optional Pre-written Card Message: CHOOSE - 101 Ways to Change the World
Click Create eCard
(I recommend leaving the rest of the options alone)

5. You will get a new window that contains a link like this:

6. Select all of the linked text using your mouse so that it is highlighted and right click "copy".

7. Goto the Notepad File window - click in the white space - right click "paste".

8. Label this link with 101 Ways to Change World

9. Now repeat the step for all the other eBooks - 9 more to go.

What you are left with should look like this... Make sure you save it.

By now you are probably saying - that was a lot of busy work - for what? - Well, keep reading.

Now you have some tools you can use at your disposal.

For now - test each one of these links with this simple technique.

Open up that .txt file - and select the link text:

Right click and select "copy"

Go to a new browser window and in a blank Address Bar right click and "paste" the link

Hit the enter key and check that the eBook displays properly:

Look for:
That it is capturing your MPM ID #. (http://www.mypowermall.com/Media/43040/2)
Pretend you are someone who found this link - and click the "Get Free eBook" button
Check your email - and you will see you were notified that someone read your book.

Pretty sweet - huh?

My Power Mall New Member Contest!

Whenever possible, I love to have Contests where everyone has a chance to win something - but with a few people winning BIGGER. I think this new Contest meets that criteria.

So you know, my personal goal is to double the size of the company by November 1st. It should really be quite easy. Right this minute we have 54,105 members.
